1 cup pumpkin purée
1/2 cup melted butter
2 eggs
1 cup brown sugar
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/2 tsp pumpkin spice
Pinch of salt
1/2 cup maple syrup (for glaze)
2 tbsp butter (for glaze)
Pinch flaky salt (for glaze)
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line loaf pan.
Whisk pumpkin, butter, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in sugar.
Add flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and spices. Fold gently.
Pour into pan, bake 50–60 minutes. Cool completely.
Simmer maple syrup and butter for glaze. Stir in salt. Pour over bread.
Don’t overmix batter.
Glaze should be slightly thickened before pouring.
