Cheddar Bay Biscuit Seafood Pot Pie

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 cup crab meat

  • 4 tbsp butter

  • 2 tbsp flour

  • 2 cups milk

  • ½ cup cream

  • 1 cup carrots, diced

  • ½ cup celery, diced

  • ½ cup peas

  • 1 batch Cheddar Bay biscuits

  • 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease baking dish.

  • Make roux with butter and flour. Gradually whisk in milk and cream.

  • Add vegetables and cook 3-4 minutes.

  • Fold in seafood, season with Old Bay, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  • Pour into baking dish. Top with Cheddar Bay biscuits.

  • Bake 20-25 min until biscuits are golden and filling bubbles.

  • Cool 5 min, garnish, and serve.
