2 cooked chicken breasts (sliced or shredded)
1 ripe avocado
4 slices of bread (sourdough recommended)
4 slices of cheddar cheese
2 tbsp butter or olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: lemon juice, chili flakes
Mash avocado with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
Spread avocado on 2 bread slices.
Layer chicken and cheese. Top with bread.
Heat skillet with butter/oil. Grill sandwich 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
Slice and serve hot.
Press with a spatula for a crispier crust.
Add tomatoes or spinach for freshness.
Best eaten fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven.
