Chicken Avocado Melt Sandwich – A Flavorful, Cheesy Favorite

Ingredients

  • 2 cooked chicken breasts (sliced or shredded)

  • 1 ripe avocado

  • 4 slices of bread (sourdough recommended)

  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese

  • 2 tbsp butter or olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • Optional: lemon juice, chili flakes

Instructions

  • Mash avocado with salt, pepper, and lemon juice.

  • Spread avocado on 2 bread slices.

  • Layer chicken and cheese. Top with bread.

  • Heat skillet with butter/oil. Grill sandwich 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown and cheese is melted.

  • Slice and serve hot.

Notes

  • Press with a spatula for a crispier crust.

  • Add tomatoes or spinach for freshness.

  • Best eaten fresh, but leftovers can be reheated in the oven.
