12 manicotti shells
2 cups shredded cooked chicken
1 cup ricotta cheese
2 cups mozzarella cheese, divided
½ cup Parmesan cheese, divided
1 egg
3 cups Alfredo sauce (homemade or store-bought)
3 cloves garlic, minced
1½ cups heavy cream
½ cup butter
Salt, pepper, Italian seasoning
Fresh parsley, for garnish
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Boil manicotti shells until al dente. Drain carefully.
Make Alfredo sauce: melt butter, sauté garlic, add cream, and whisk in Parmesan.
Combine chicken, ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and seasonings for filling.
Pipe filling into manicotti shells.
Spread Alfredo sauce on the bottom of a baking dish, arrange manicotti, top with sauce and mozzarella.
Bake 25 minutes covered, then uncover and bake 10 more minutes.
Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
