2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
1/2 cup warm water
1/2 cup milk
1 tbsp sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
1 tbsp fresh dill, chopped
Optional: 1/4 cup chopped pickles or shredded cheese
Activate yeast in warm water with sugar.
Mix dry ingredients and combine with yeast mixture, milk, and butter.
Knead 6-8 minutes until smooth.
First rise: 45-60 min until doubled.
Shape dough, place in greased loaf pan. Optional: fold in pickles.
Second rise: 20-30 min. Preheat oven to 375°F.
Bake 35-45 min until golden. Cool 20 min before slicing.
