Garlic Parmesan Focaccia: Easy Homemade Bread Full of Flavor

Ingredients

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • 1 cup warm water (110°F)

  • 2 ¼ tsp yeast

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 2 tbsp olive oil (plus more for drizzling)

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ cup parmesan cheese, grated

  • Optional: fresh rosemary or herbs

Instructions

  • Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water. Let sit until foamy.

  • Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Knead until smooth.

  • Let dough rise for 1 hour until doubled.

  • Spread into an oiled baking pan. Rest 20 minutes.

  • Dimple with fingers, drizzle with oil, add garlic and parmesan.

  • Bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes until golden.

  • Cool slightly, then slice and serve warm.

Notes

  • For softer bread, use bread flour.

  • Add herbs or toppings for extra flavor.

  • Best served warm with olive oil for dipping.
