20–24 small meatballs (fresh or frozen)
1 cup uncooked long-grain rice
2 cups chicken broth
½ cup honey
¼ cup soy sauce
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon rice vinegar (optional)
1 teaspoon sesame oil (optional)
Green onions & sesame seeds for garnish
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
Spread rice in the bottom of a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Pour broth over rice and stir gently.
Arrange meatballs on top and cover with honey garlic sauce.
Cover tightly with foil and bake 35 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 15 minutes until rice is fluffy and sauce is bubbling.
Garnish and serve hot.
