Lentil and Rice Stuffed Cabbage Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 large green cabbage

  • 1 cup cooked lentils

  • 1 cup cooked rice

  • 1 onion, diced

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 cups tomato sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

Instructions

  • Blanch cabbage leaves until soft.

  • Sauté onions and garlic; mix with lentils, rice, and spices.

  • Fill and roll cabbage leaves.

  • Place in baking dish; pour tomato sauce on top.

  • Cover and bake at 350°F for 35-40 min.

  • Serve warm with garnish.
