Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers: Healthy, Flavorful, and Easy

Ingredients

  • 4 cups shredded cabbage

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 1 egg (or flax egg for vegan)

  • 1/4 cup grated cheese (optional)

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1/2 tsp cumin

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • 12 tsp olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet.

  • Shred cabbage and squeeze out moisture.

  • Mix all ingredients in a bowl.

  • Form 1/3 cup patties and place on the sheet.

  • Brush with oil and bake 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway.

  • Serve warm with desired toppings.
