Sausage and Sweet Potatoes with Honey Garlic Sauce

  • 12 oz smoked sausage, sliced

  • 2 large sweet potatoes, cubed

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 3 garlic cloves, minced

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).

  • Toss sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Arrange on a baking sheet.

  • Add sliced sausage on top.

  • In a bowl, whisk honey, garlic, soy sauce, and olive oil. Pour half over sausage and potatoes.

  • Roast for 20–25 minutes, stirring halfway through.

  • Drizzle with remaining glaze and serve hot.

Notes

  • Use chicken sausage for a lighter option.

  • Broil for 2 minutes for extra crispiness.
