1 tbsp olive oil
1 onion, diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 lb ground turkey
2 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 apples, chopped
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (15 oz) kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
1 cup chicken broth
Heat oil in a large pot. Sauté onion and garlic until soft.
Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
Stir in spices and toast for 1 minute.
Add apples, beans, tomatoes, and broth. Mix well.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 25–30 minutes.
Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
